I'm sure this very easy to identify, but I'm stumped! I have a #C229 green 15 centimos stamp, but I also have one that is identical, but it is orange and a different printer name on the bottom. For the life of me I can't find the Scott No. for the orange one. Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question!

Scott #C229 - green, and #C254 - orange.

Thank you so much! C254 is it! I looked and looked for that orange one!

I'm probably going to have more questions, so I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain again soon!

News Flash:

You are suffering from a common ailment among philatelists. The common name of this ailment is "Catalog Blindness" wherein the philatelist experiences the inability to see the stamp listing they are looking for.

The standard treatment for Catalog Blindess is a post on a friendly postage stamp collectors web forum. Recent studies have shown that SCF is the most effective web forum for the treatment of this ailment.

It is theorized that if catalog publishers were more helpful in listing and describing similar designs issued at different times and/or colors that this might help alleviate the ailment.

In the mean time philatelists everywhere with an internet connection can take solace in that there are places where they can meet online with similar sufferers and help each other out.

On the other hand, if you feel you are making way too much progress too fast with your illness, and believe you may be "discharged" into the cruel, cruel world before you're ready, start working on your U.S. Washington's and Franklin's; this is guaranteed to induce a relapse of monumental proportions.

To meet other sufferers to form a support group, get a bumper sticker that says "Ask me about Millimeters and Centimeters" and wear a button that says "STOP Coil Waste Now!"

I certainly have that ailment! I have a growing group of stamps I can't find, but I'm going to keep looking before I plaster them all over the forum!

I truly appreciate the help!
