My neighbor breeds Bichon Frise,
They are very cute indeed.

They (3) escaped the backyard confines last year,
and we spent days out at night spotlighting for them
near the wheatfields.

Found them after 5 days......very hungry critters
I don't think they were impressed with freedom.

Nice stamp BeeSee and a great looking dog too.

We used to breed Tibetan Spaniels. We still have some but are no longer in the breeding part any more.

A cachet producer we know did one of our dogs and used it with the Neuter & Spay your pets issue of the US in 2002. The dog was Karma. Sadly, we lost her only about 4 or 5 months ago to cancer. She will always be missed as we do with all of our dogs.

I have attached 2 scans of covers with her cachets.

This may be a first,
when the neighbor clips her Bichon, a little willy wagtail
collected up the Bichon hair (it's toasty warm) and made a nest
(on top of a coloured light!)

Babies hatched, Mum and kids all fine.......

Lovely picture and dog and inscription-ing of the design and everything, as per usual Bee See!

Thanks for the lower left corner with the, what I believe is, the printing date of the sheet on. This goes with my theory that they print the sheets first and then add the personalized photos later. Makes sense to me, efficiency-wise and all. Reminds me that I have never posted my lower lefts on that long lost thread (i can find it, really I can). Distractions, distractions.

Did you make any covers especially with Molly on them? Any planned?

Bujustsu,
those are great cachets, I like the first one over the second, those big eyes and all.

Rod,
Amazing the bird pictures you snap. I shall come to you to get good bird pics when I make a worldwide set of birds stamps.

Very nice cachets Bujutsu!

That is a great nest Rod - dog hair! Yeh, these dogs actually have hair, not fur, so they don't shed. But they sure are high maintenance for grooming, and Molly is ready for her summer grooming, now that summer has finally arrive in Vancouver.
