I collect Hong Kong stamps during the British regime (reigns of Queen Victoria to King George VI). My collection is still rather small, I must admit. |

I collect Amy world wide pre 1940, so I suppose I do to some extent collect hong kong... But I don't have a collection of just hong kong. Does that count? |

Pre-1940 Hong Kong is an expensive batch... They are mostly definitives and just 2 commemorative stamps - QV Jubilee and KGV Silver Jubilee. |

This is an image of the pen and ink sketch, included in Sir Hercules Robinson's despatch requisition for stamps 9th March 1861. De La Rue produced a reprint in Olive Bistre colour, which is the Prize of all Hong Kong Philately. Only 40 examples remain, and a block of 4 went up for auction in 2011, for an estimate of 12,000,000 HK dollars. |

I only have the KGV defins to $5, the KGV silver jubilee and the KG6 coronation, all 3 part of broader collections. |

I don't think I've shown this particular piece here before: A used plate pair of Hong Kong Sc175. Probably philatelic, unless someone was just too lazy to tear off the selvage. Plate 1 of two plates. Sorry about the mylar strip. |

I have 50 HongKong stamps starting at # 43 (1884). Not a huge number but some nice ones. |

Quote: .are these found in catalogue (ex: Scott) ? G'day Rene, no sir, considered B.o.b (Back of book) classification "Indicia" Registration Labels. A page of Victoria (Australia) say 35 items were knocked down in Perth about 7 years ago for $14, so collectable. My page: I think part of a large collection of (worldwide) Registration labels, a gift from SCF member, Mr. Ryan Davenport (Canada) |
