Good try. Not sure what to do.
Here is a Uruguay stamp scanned at 600 and then cropped and reduced to 75% in my editing program.



At 1200 you should see the lint in her belly button.

Perhaps it is the cropping tool or reducing program you are using. Are you reducing the actual size in pixels of the photo or just the percentage of the whole picture down to a smaller percentage? Confusing to say, sorry.

Or, maybe the stamps are just that way. I do not have any here to compare unfortunately.

I am not sure I am using Picasa 3. I export it then up load the file. But if it doesn't upload then I optimise it, using the SCF optimiser.

Hmmm. Picassa is a good program, I had it once but since I only have phone dial-up connection (slow) I stopped using it.

Could be the ink on the stamp is not printed correctly also.

Be aware the 15c comes in a quadrille paper variety......

The 15c is Printed in the quadrille paper type II N under the you making it a Scott #103 correct?
