Hey Guys Finally got started on my homemade Canadian album. Because I don't have a Scott's Catalogue for Canadian stamps I'm using the Canadian Postal Archives on the Canada Post Website as my guide. Here are a couple of examples of the pages I put together. As soon as I figure out this !*& new software to adjust image size I'll post some more. Dianne     |

Gorgeous job, Dianne! I think you could go into business creating album pages as a side job---if your love for plants/flowers would allow you, and if there were more hours in a day!

Thanks Bob I do realize that. I kept spares because I'm not certain How to tell them apart yet. Gussy when I was trying to decide how to set out the album my first priority was to find the right kind of paper. I didn't want to use white cause I wanted that old paper look. After months of searching I finally found a paper called synergy bond that is both archival and acid free. It's only 24lb but because it has a linen finish it appears to be heavier. It has the exact look I wanted, similar to the paper in our mystic albums. As for printing the border and and country name on the page I found a free website that allows me to do so. It would also print the date but I find it easier to do that myself because as I work with the stamps the number of pages for that year can vary. Dianne  |
