Hi

This is a pictorial postage meter with Mount Fuji.
Osaka Higashi = East Osaka (post office loc.)

The postage meter machine is Pitney Bowes (nr.276)

Here's an online catalog of international postal meter stamps.

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.

I have quite a few in my collection,
(I'll collect anything )

I find them strangely attractive,
probably because they are clear and easily identified,
Mt Fuji appears only in the horizontal format.

...but how do you mount them

I digitalise them, then pop 'em in polypropolene in the shoe box.

Meters are now gaining a lot of respect in the philatelic field.

I see that this is a fairly old conversation... but I have something to add, so here goes! :)
I have a Japan metered cover that I think is quite beautiful and thought I'd share.
