I have been intrigued by a postcard I saw recently (not mine) that had this machine cancel applied to it with both horizontal waves as well as vertical killer marks in between. I have never seen this "design" before and was wondering if anyone could educate me on what type it is and apart from the obvious 1909 usage here, the approximate dates this type of machine cancdel was in use. (I cropped this image from a picture postcard, as I was more interested in the postmark than the postcard itself.)
