I picked up a safe brand album a little while back, a Xmas gift for one of my nephew, Bought it on ebay used.
I decided that I stick a few duplicate stamps into it for him. While doing this I really like the album system ,it has a printed page and a clear page with spaces for the stamps. What I like is that you can see the back of the stamp with out having to remove it from the mounts. Also you can keep two collections a used and a mint, you can hinge or put mounts on the paper page for your second collection.
The album binder it self is not bad but if you go to there website they sell a higher end leather full grain album binder think its over $250 just for the high end binder.
The thing that really sold me is the fact that you can buy plain album pages with the plastic sheets with different formats so if you want to display some covers you can get sheets with 2 pockets or 4 pockets etc etc. I put a couple of images of the one page of the album to give you a ideal more info is on the web site http://www.safepub.com/sections/sta...ing-supplies .
So I am on the fence weather to buy a safe album system for myself.
