I will be at Metropex working the desk on Friday. We will have more space than last year with more dealers. Admission is free. For the budget-minded collector there will be a dollar cover table by the Maplewood Stamp Club with thousands of covers. Also come see the swimming pool of stamps where US used stamps are only a nickel each, C'mon and dive in. For the International collector starting out there is a healthy stack of Scott International Album pages in great shape (Looks like Volume 1 and volume 5 to me collated A to Z) for $20. These aren't dog-eared pages, they appear to be practically new. There's no binder though.

The show is located at the Roseville Oval

Directions. From the west. Take Highway 36 eastbound to Snelling. Go north on Snelling to County Road C, Go east on County Road C. Take a left on Civic Center Rd. Civic Center Rd.

From the east. Take Highway 36 westbound to Lexington. Go north on Lexington to County Road C. Take a left on County Road C for a short distance and then take a right on Civic Center Rd.

I did the same thing with the Minnesota Stamp Expo. I drove all the way out to Crystal and was surprised to see an empty parking lot and gym! I will make sure there are plenty of signs on Friday! I've been working on a list of dealers. Iowa stamps will be there for sure, a new dealer or two. I will have the swimming pool o' stamps with at least 60,000 US stamps in it for 5 cents each at the club table. There will be several thousand covers for a dollar each too.

I bought 350 covers my first day. Lots of great US postal history available. Also there is a specialist dealer in Mexico stamps, a topical dealer from California with hundreds of topics to choose from, not to mention Adler Stamps which specializes in stamps of Germany. I spent several hours there and did not get a chance to visit all of the dealers (16 in all).
