50c Orange on cover to the German Governor of Mariana Islands at Saipan and tied by ms. "Agana 17/2/01 Guam" cancellation, "Saipan Marianen 20/2/01" German Post Office receiving handstamp at bottom left.

Spanish dominion....
The international movement of the single issue of Mariana is limited to the correspondence that travelled on the journey back to Manila from Steam "Uranus". The letters have, therefore, the time stamp of arrival or transit of Manila dated 11 December 1899.

50c Orange, $1.00 Black. Used with 2c Rose Carmine, 5c Blue and 10c Brown, Ty. I (2, 5, 8), latter natural s.e., tied by "Ladrone Isl's. Guam, Aug. 27 10AM 1901" duplex cancels on registered cover to Dresden, Germany, neat "Agana, Guam" circular handstamp with ms. registry no., receiving backstamp.

1899, 1c-$1.00 Ty. II, Natal UPU Overseas "Specimen" Ovpts. (1S-11S, 13S). Large purple block letter ovpts and affixed on piece from the Natal Post Office archive album, 1c, 2c and 5c natural s.e., 4c small corner stuff
A few of the Specimen sets prepared by the U.S. government may have included the $1.00 Ty. II as it is "dashed" in the catalog. The Natal Specimen overprints were applied upon receipt from the UPU.
