I guess you can consider it a testimony to the amount of time you've invested in collecting. Perhaps the amount of money spent. It also speaks to how many countries from which you collect. But at the end of the day, it's how many binders you have that you can look at and smile with satisfaction while sitting back in your chair. So...

How many binders of stamps do you currently have, and how do you organize them?

I collect only US, and have 6 binders organized as such:

1. #1 - 1,199
2. #1,200 - 2,400
3. #2,401 - 3,600
4. #3,601 - Now & Air Mail
5. Full Sheets
6. Dupes, Trades, To Identify, To Mount, and a Wish List

Let's get this party started!

I collect WW (1840-1940), and I have been migrating over to the Classic Steiner pages.

So far, with Aden-Italy put in binders, I count...21!

And I have a long ways to go.

Wow! I mean, WOW! These are great replies! Keep 'em coming! I thought 6 was a lot, but I can see I'm in my infancy! I'm 42, so I have a few years ahead of me to catch-up!

Side question - what are your plans for your collections after you've "packed-up and moved on" so-to-speak? My daughter wants my bass guitars, and my son wants my stamps. Not for a while, I told them....not for a while!

Collect worldwide
75 Albums
that includes about 7 albums for "awkwards"
that need to be sorted / mounted.

I have willed my collection (as poor as it is)
to my stamp club. They can auction it all off
and have funds for the club.

i guess I could expect Rod to do a well thought out plan involving the future of his stamps...he knows their future ! Stamp collecting is a personal thing...My wifes collections of European Ententes and Europa forerunners is much better and more focused than mine....but I would not trade mine for hers !!
