I know some Soviet era stamps were accompanied by labels, often with quotes from the powers that be.
Here's one I can't find in the catalogue. Is this one of those labels, or a separate cinderella from the party bosses?




There were no stamps with it that seemed like they could be its mate.
Also, it is canceled. Do you experts think that is a CTO (there's no gum) or a legit cancel?

These are stamp "tabs"
I forsaw years ago, these will become a constant query in philately
I may have a thread on SCF about them

Ahhhh, thankyou Rod. I stand corrected, the accompanying stamp IS on the page, just not near by. And the postmarks match up perfectly.
