Came across this beautiful Canadian National Railways train postcard high-lighting the Montreal to Chicago run (see link below). A 'tight" looking train with a great perspective point. I'm glad to have experienced this era!
The term "Form 1771" at lower left caught my eye. Was this in fact a government "publication," so to speak, assuming that the Canadian National Railways was part of government?
Doug2222: funny you should mention that. When I saw that form designation I backed out of the site to verify that I was indeed viewing a postcard. I thought at first that I was looking at one of those large scenic posters that you would see in train station waiting rooms inviting you to "See The Rockies".
I didn't think of it at the time but linking to a sell site like that is probably bad practice given that the image will only be there for a short time.
