Dr. Louis Thomas (1887-1976) was a photographer who produced a large collection of photographs of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Flipping the script slightly, this is the only known example of a pictorial cancel from the Civil War era depicting a camera. Ex-Baryla, from his award-winning Civil War Sun Tax exhibit.
