Anyone ever heard of post road site I use it to reference stamps
I cataloged over a hundred of my Germany stamps before I realized
That the scott# didn't seem right .
Scott # 1484 on there site was Scott # 9n523. Any advice or input

No link and no pics, so I'm just guessing here.

Maybe they do have it IDed correctly. The 2 Scott catalog numbers you gave are for stamps that are nearly identical.

Germany #1484 is inscribed "Deutsche Bundespost".
Germany #9N523 is inscribed "Deutsche Bundespost Berlin".

OK, I've found the site you are referring to -- Post Road Company. I realize that as a new user, you cannot post links. But do try to give the specific name of the company so I don't have to go through all the Google "post road" hits. Thank you.

I've looked at their listings for both Germany #1484 and #9N523, and both are IDed correctly on their site. The difference is as I stated in the previous post. One has an additional "Berlin" inscription at the lower right side.

Thank you for the knowledge. I did alot of cross refrencing and found
That out also. Now you know why my name is stamp dazed.
I bid on a lot at an auction and won about three months
Ago, not realizing it was a 15,000 + collection, I've been at
the sorting table ever since. I think I bit off more than I could chew.
