Anyone have any idea on these two Bolivian stamps? They are dated 1944 and 1945, but I can't find them in the catalogue.

Thanks

Yes, The Dept of Beni would end up as back of Brazil. It was obilgitory stamp (tax) in addition to regular postage! Is noted in Scott!

The "Pro Desayuno" stamp was issued originally in 1945 in denominations of 20 centavos, 40 centyavos, and 1 Boliviano. The 10 centavos stamp was issued a bit later, first in red orange and with perfs either 12 or 11. Listed as number LC12 and 12a in the Hilchey and Akerman catalog of Bolivian reRevenues. First litho printing was by Talleres Offset. Later litho by Don Bosco in Pale Vermilion with varying shades, #LC20, perf 11.5. They're pretty common and low valued.
