The USPS website has announced today it's 2013 rate changes (pending PRC approval) which will take effect January 27, 2013:

First Class up $0.01 to $0.46 cents
Additional Ounce unchanged at $0.20 cents
Postcards up $0.01 to $0.33 cents
Global International at $1.10 (no reduction for mail to Canada/Mexico, so it sounds).
A new offering will be a Global Forever Stamp at the rate of $1.10 allowing usage good for mailing 1 oz. anywhere in the world, and as a Forever stamp it should remain good for the current rate even when any future price increases take place.
Since we have less than 110 days before these rates take effect, there will have to be a major announcement of new issues coming up to address all of these rate changes in relatively short order.
