Just received email from Can Post with their latest promotions and holiday pushes. On top of personal picture postage you can now upload a personal photo and have it made into a postcard stamped and mailed to anywhere in the world for just $2.40. Since this can be just 1 pc I doubt any collecting frenzy will arise but depending on how they are done you never know. Would be interesting if they did a pre stamped back rather than adding postage .

Actually, Picture Postcards from Canada Post have been available since the summer of 2011 (over a year ago).

Well that shows how far out to lunch I've been . Funny I've ordered from the philatelic store quite a few times over the years but only seen the one email today. Must have checked off something recently. Also in the mail today was a neatly folded gift from Canada Post . Unfolded its a CFL poster depicting the CFL stamps. Can't complain about a great big stamp for free these days. Wonder how long before somone puts the poster on ebay.

Nitrolures, I also got mine in the mail today. Nice poster but can't frame it as it is double sided.....

Our local post office, which probably serves less than a 100 people, received a couple of bundles of these "pamphlets" about a month ago.

Your post office should/may have some lying around that you could pick up to have both sides visible.

By the way, Canada Post is spending big bucks promoting these CFL stamps. I have seen more TV ads than for any other stamp issue.

If they were to put it in their "Our publication" page as a PDF file (http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/per...ations.jsf), then one could have it printed professionally and laminated or framed without having the fold lines.
