Kaarlo Juho Ståhlberg (1865-1952) was a Finnish jurist and academic who played a central role in the drafting of the Constitution of Finland in 1919, and also served as the country's first president (1919–1925). Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of K.J. Ståhlberg, along with a depiction of Lex, a sculpture by Finnish artist Walter Runeberg (1838-1920), designed by Finnish artist Olavi Vepsäläinen (1927-1993), engraved by Birger Ekholm, and issued by Finland on March 22, 1965 to commemorate President Ståhlberg's birth centenary, Scott No. 429, Facit No. 600, plus a photographic portrait of the statesman which may have been a model for this stamp's design. Bonus: Soul patch.

Léonce Lagarde, comte de Rouffeyroux, (1860-1936) was a French colonial governor of French Somaliland and an ambassador. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Governor Lagarde, designed by French artist Jean Kerhor (1876-1974), engraved by Emile Henri Feltesse, printed by Institut de Gravure, Paris, and issued for use in Somali Coast in 1938, Scott No. 171, plus a similar likeness of Léonce Lagarde wearing a chestful of medals, c. 1900. Bonuses: Stamp-on-stamp, camel, and religion (Mosque of Djibouti).

Fuad I (1868-1936) was the Sultan and later King of Egypt and Sudan, Sovereign of Nubia, Kordofan, and Darfur. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of the neatly moustachioed monarch, printed by photogravure, and issued by Egypt on April 28, 1944 to commemorate the eighth anniversary of his death, Scott No. 241, plus an image of an undated photo of King Fuad.

Ivar Edvard Wilskman (1854-1932) was a Finnish sports leader, a professor, and the founder of Urheilulehti, the first Finnish sports magazine. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a profile portrait of Wilskman, designed by Finnish artist Olavi Vepsäläinen, engraved by Reijo Achrén, and issued by Finland on February 26, 1954 to commemorate Wilskman's birth centenary, Scott No. 311, Facit No. 425, plus a photo of Ivar Wilskman showing off his powerful physique.

Miguel Paz Baraona (1863-1937) was a physician and politician who served as President of Honduras from 1925 to 1929. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Dr. Baraona, engraved and printed by American Bank Note Company, and issued by Honduras on January 2, 1931, Scott No. 298, plus an image of an official painting of Miguel Paz Baraona wearing his presidential sash.

Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Austrian politician Leopold Kunschak (1871-1953), designed by Adalbert Pilch, engraved by Rudolf Toth, and issued by Austria on March 23, 1973, Scott No. 1075, plus a photograph of Kunschak which was the model for this stamp's design.

Athanasios Diakos (1788-1821) was a Greek military commander during the Greek War of Independence who is venerated as a national hero. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Diakos, engraved and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., Ltd., and issued by Greece on April 1, 1930 as one of a set of eighteen stamps commemorating the centenary of Greece's independence, Scott No. 355, plus an image of a painted portrait (1861) of Athanasios Diakos by Greek artist Dionysios Tsokos (1814-1862) which was the model for this stamp's design.

Quang Trung (1753-1792) was the second emperor of the Tây Son Dynasty of Vietnam, and was one of the most successful military commanders in Vietnam's history. Here is an image of an engraved stamp featuring a portrait of the ruler, and issued by (South) Vietnam on January 1, 1972, Scott No. 412, plus a photo of the statue of Emperor Quang Trung in the Museum of Quang Trung in Quy Nhon.

Georges Benjamin Clemenceau (1841-1929) was a French statesman who led his nation during the First World War. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of the prime minister, designed and engraved by Albert Decaris, and issued by France on November 11, 1951, Scott No. 669, Y&T No. 918, plus a photographic portrait of Georges Clemenceau. Bonus: Barbed wire.

Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of Dr. Luis Fernando Baltasar Vivero Toledo (1790-1842), an Ecuadoran jurist and patriot, engraved and printed by American Bank Note Company, and issued by Ecuador in 1920 as one of a set of twenty stamps commemorating the centenary of the independence of Guayaquil, Scott No. 226, plus an image of a painting of Luis Fernando Vivero which was surely the model for this stamp's design.
