sorry about the newbie questions ... but I'm relatively new to the hobby, retrurning after a 30+ year hiatus
anyway, here's a picture off an
ebay auction of ERB first day cover. My question is ... do people buy the covers for $0.89 from the USPS and then print their own cachets to resell? Is that where all the different FDCs come from? (this one seems particularly insulting as whoever authored the cover mispelled 'Rice') Is it legal to do this?
