I wonder if anyone else on here is familiar with these; I have used them for some collections and really like them. Finding them can be a chore. I have been buying direct from Washington Press but lately have run into issues with them and would dealy love to find any other supply dealers who carry them. If anyone knows of such please let me know, It loks like Subway no longer does.

Is there something different about them, vs. Scott or Showguard?

They are made of very thin material and are self adhesive. They are a pocket type but I find I can easily remove stamps from them. One other thing I like, they are crystal clear- they do glare in direct light but I think they overall look pretty good, all are cut to size.
One drawback- they are not usually available anyplace other than Washington Press and sometimes they can be a pain to deal with, I have been having to make 2-3 followup calls to get my orders mailed out.

They're a little pricey. But I like the idea behind them. Thin and closed on 3 sides. I think I'm too vested in the Scott/Showguard ecosystem at this point.

I use the White Ace stamp mounts for only one thing; my collection of Bureau cards. I have not found anything else that works so well for large heavy card stock items.

Is dredging up old topics allowed on these forums? Hope so ;)
I'm about to start putting together two stamp albums, and I've decided to mount everything instead of hinging. Before I make a decision on what mounts to use I'm wondering if anyone here can share a picture of what the Stampmount from Was. Press actually looks like? They sound nice.
Want to compare to scott, prinz, mystic, etc... it's just very difficult finding product pictures on stamp collecting sites out there :/
Thanks.

I went to the Washington Press web site to see them, although I didn't see any pictures, the one thing that stood out right away was they are pre-cut to size. Not only that they say on the site that they use a tape to adhere to the pages. I suppose, for some, that may be good but I feel being able to cut them to the size I want is better. Not only that, I'm not sure I like the idea of self adhesive tape, but that's me.
