I have collected all the Team GB medal winner first day covers (29 Olympics and 34 Paralympics) of the complete set all bar one are date stamped for the day of issue which is one or two days after the medal winning performance.
However one first day cover David Stone who won paralympic gold on 8th September is date stamped 7th September! Is this likely to be of any significance. I cant find any source or reference for this on the www so any expert opinion or advise would be appreciated.
