1918 issue `25 bani` on `20 Pfennig`: 3 shades exist, here are two (I identified them as first sheet `BLAU` second `VIOLETTBLAU`). Had to resize pretty much the scan, but hope it helps (third shade is `GRAUBLAU`)

Nice sheets Wadmalatz.
Highlights the colour difference well.

Graublau = grey blue?
I don't have it
3 violet blues and a blue with a postmark.
The postmarked example has mint gum, so either a forged postmark
or CTO.

My Romanian catalogue lists only two shades: `Violet` (lilac) and `Ultramarin albastru` (ultramarin blue). Accrding Michel greyblue has highest CV (65 eur used)- it must be rare.
First issue (1917 June 1) 25 bani + MVIR in frame comes for in only one colour:`ultramarin` - in the middle, cancellation seems OK

Nice fleurons on the 20pf blue floortrader.
"Bucarest" spelt with a C rather than K, I wonder if any significance.

German Ninth Army Post.
1917
Most postmarks on these are fraudulent.

wiki
The Romanian campaign was part of the Balkan theatre of World War I, with Romania and Russia allied against the armies of the Central Powers. Fighting took place from August 1916 to December 1917, across most of present-day Romania, including Transylvania, which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the time, as well as southern Dobruja, which is currently part of Bulgaria.

Romania entered the war in an attempt to seize Transylvania, a historical province with a majority-Romanian population. Despite initial successes, the combined Russo-Romanian forces suffered several setbacks and by the end of 1916 only Moldavia remained under Allied control. After several defensive victories in 1917, the Allied front collapsed when the Bolsheviks took Russia out of the war and Romania, left surrounded by the Central Powers, signed an armistice at Focºani. On November 10, 1918, just one day before the German armistice and when all the other Central Powers had already capitulated, Romania belatedly re-entered the war. By then, about 220,000 Romanian soldiers had been killed, representing about 6% of total Entente military deaths.

10 bani purple
2 Lei Green wanted

Looked for "dropped 9" and thin and thick frame.

That's right.
FT, I like to delve a little deeper into stamps,
but there is a limit :)

This guy here
http://www.revenues.ro/

Investigates these stamps to a level that is mind boggling
I would love to sit down and listen to a discussion
on these from him at a stamp club. :)

I have accepted a level where, when I get stamp examples
I'll look for THICK and THIN frame, and the "dropped 9"
after that, I'll leave it for another lifetime.

What I think is missing though from all these German Occupation
stamps, is a study of fake postmarks, (inclusive of forgeries, fabrications, philatelic favour cancels, and CTO's)
there are so many it seems to me to doubt all postmarks.
You need to just have examples on cover.

edit: forgeries and fabrications and CTO

ROD----thanks for that link,I read the whole article ,it is a little beyond my scope of collecting Romania .But im going to put up a few scans on that subject .
In reply to your saying those cancels are fake ,maybe a better statement would be that they are favor cancels .They may of been canceled in mass for the German and European philatelic market and better called C-T-O's .
