Now THAT is a 1960s stamp! The question is, what speed is that record? 45, 33.3, 78? |

Nells250 & centerstage98 - Thanks! Nells250 - Judging by the hole size, I'd guess that the record is a 33 and 1/3 RPM LP (Long Playing). 78's were pretty obsolete by the 1960s, although I remember my dad still having some in his collection then. Here is an image of a stamp depicting a sun bear ( Helarctos malayanus), also known as the honey bear, designed by Chong Yun Fatt, engraved and printed by Waterlow & Sons, Ltd., and issued for use in North Borneo on February 1, 1961, Scott No. 281, plus a photo of a sun bear. - nethryk |
