Hello Everyone,

I didn't see this question type on any earlier posts. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on whether it's better to sell M/LH 1893 Columbians (1 cent through 50 cents, minus the 4 & 6 cent)on ebay as a lot or to sell them individually? (With the obvious goal of being to make the most money...!!) Thanks for any feedback!!

Absolutely individually! How many collectors do you think need them "all"? How many more collectors need just one or two (among yours) and will bid on them, one by one, and thus save money by not bidding on the denominations they don't need?

The difference in ebay fees is minimal, probably less than $10 overall.

If you sell them as a group, you're waiting for someone who can afford the whole group, which is a big chunk of money. They catalog for well over $1,000. Selling them individually makes it easier for people to buy what they can afford and it doesn't stop someone from buying them all.

You could also do a bit of both, putting the 1 and 2 together and selling the rest individually.
