This is a very interesting block of stamps. Issued 2011

1 stamp is Australia mainland. Next stamp is Australia Antarctic Territory.

Followed by a stamp of Cocos (Keeling) Island. Lastly a Christmas Island stamp.

Any other countries have the same situation in the modern world?

This block had me confused.
I didn't know were to file it in my collection.
I ended up filing it in Australia and putting
photocopies in the other regions.

On May 20, 1965, Yugoslavia and Romania released a joint issue which was valid in both countries, and had both country names and both currency/denominations on the same stamp. This is not quite the same as your se-tenant block, but I have never seen another stamp in this format.

Incidentally, on the OP's block, all four stamps are valid for postage in Australia. I believe that ALL the stamps of the other 3 nations are likewise valid.

Three of the stamps are for Australian Territories and the stamps are valid for mailing in Australia.

I believe that New Guinea was a territory of Australia until we handed it over to self govern in the 70's?

Triggersmob I can very much relate to "where to put this block of 4"? It will be interesting to see how I finally give it a title description today.

Very fascinating doug2222 that a stamp be made in such a way. Thanks for sharing.
