Poland Polish Arab Horses August 30, 2007 Poles acquired pure-bred Arabian horses in as early as the 16th Century. The Arabian Horse Breeding Society is formed in Poland in the 1920s. The breeding program was rebuilt after the World War II. Today Poland has three state studs as well private studs which breed Arabian horses.
Brazil Diplomatic Ties with Slovenia June 21, 2016 The stamp set celebrates the 25th anniversary of Slovenia's independence and the diplomatic relations between Brazil and Slovenia. One stamp bears an image of the Slovenian white Lipizzan horse, the other an image of the Brazilian Mangalarga Marchador horse.
Here is an image of a stamp designed by Pentti Rahikainen (1928- ) after a detail from a 1653 painting of Christina, Queen of the Swedes (1626-1689) on horseback, by French artist Sébastien Bourdon (1616-1671), and depicting the crest of Helsinki University, printed by lithography, and issued by Finland on March 26, 1990 as one of the two stamps in a set commemorating the university's 350th anniversary, Scott No. 815, Facit No. 1107, plus an image of Sébastien Bourdon's original work of art.

Here are images of the three similar stamps in a set depicting Mohammed V (1909-1961), Sultan and King of Morocco, mounted on a noble steed, and waving to the crowd from under a parasol, designed and engraved by French artist Charles Mazelin (1882-1964), and issued by Morocco on August 18, 1959 to commemorate the king's 50th birthday, Scott Nos. 29-31
A horse appears on the cancel of this revenue stamp issued/overprinted during the WWI. German occupation of Romania. This revenue was issued for use in the district of the German 9th army, as the overprint indicates. In the Erler-Norton catalog it is #4.
