Jereed is a traditional Turkish equestrian team sport played outdoors on horseback in which the objective is to score points by throwing a blunt wooden javelin at the opposing team's horsemen. Here is an image of a stamp depicting horsemen playing jereed, printed by lithography, and issued by Turkey on October 25, 1965 as one of a set of four stamps publicizing the ANKARA '65 Philatelic Exhibition, Scott No. 1672, plus a YouTube link to a video clip of a game of jareed.

Vytautas the Great (c. 1350-1430) was a ruler (1392-1430) of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Vytautus mounted on a horse, printed by lithography, and issued by Lithuania on February 16, 1930 as one of a set of fourteen stamps commemorating the 5th centenary of the death of the Grand Duke, Scott No. 252, plus an image of the reverse of a coin minted by Lithuania in 1936 depicting Vytautas the Great attacking whilst riding his charger.

These stamps are taken from a sheet of 10 featuring photo portraits of animals taken by Charlotte Dumas.

In 1891, a privately owned postal route between Mazagan (now known as El Jadida) and Marrakech was established by Isaac Brudo, the son of the French consular representative in Mazagan. The successful local mail service was eventually purchased in 1910 by the French colonial administration in Morocco. Here is an image of a semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting a mounted gazelle hunter, designed and engraved by Henri Cortot, and issued for use in French Morocco on May 1, 1949 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Mazagan local postage stamp (issued in 1899), and for Stamp Day, Scott No. B42.
