Designing by Colour?

I noticed the Snow Flakes design with the Northern Lights stamp on ebay and thought how striking the colours of the picture were and then also how nicely the picture's colours matched those of the Snow Flakes across the top of the stamp.

A picture from ebay seller teniscouata . . . and, for inspiration, a picture of an older bluish-coloured balanced occurrence.

Puzzler, those partially missing dots are interesting, the first time I have seen that.

Yes, the snowflake stamp is quite nice!

Two recent stamps, $1.10 denomination, dots style design and shadow style design from member rallymann.

On the race car picture, the rounded upper-left corner adds to the good feeling from the stamp.

Perhaps, Canada Post could consider rounding off the sharp corner on the denomination box in the lower-right corner, and making the whole photo area rounded off also?

Received from rallymann (SCF member).
The same house picture on a
Shadow Lines themed design, <P> denominated, horizontally oriented stamp.

There seems to be printing error variety of some sort on this stamp in the denomination box, upper side.

Thanks Studystamps. How about the horizontal versions, so far only issued on the first day cover.

BeeSee:

The sub-letter "a" is used by Scott and described as: "Personalized version, any denomination or orientation".

Well they are no more personalized than the versions given full numbers. They are just as official.

On ebay now is this nice set of stamp collecting themed personal stamps, using the 2013 denominations with the Butterflies theme design surround.

Note the last two stamps, with stamps of Canada on them, show no denominations nor country name on the stamps in the pictures.

This is probably because, as on previous issues of Picture Postage stamps, the use of any country's stamps shown on a stamp is not allowed.

Very nce to see!
