Trying to organize too organize several acquired stamp books and found this stamp and believe (hope) it to be a #482A type 1a Deep Rose 2c. Scott's 2011 CV $65K.
Do you think it is the stamp I think it is? Opinions/other research is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for helping. Everyone here is really nice and I enjoy the sharing of pictures and forum discussions.
One sure-fire way to confirm it is, of course, to get it certified. The scan and everyone's different monitors it probably going to be hard to exact an opinion. I certainly wish you the best of luck though! I love having a stamp or so that "has potential"..that's always very exciting to me!

Probably a 409 with a single line watermark. If not watermarked it would be a 482. When the lower edge of the toga rope extending left from the toga button is prominent compared to the top, the stamp is a type I. Also the lower right quadrant of the toga button is just a line. The toga button shown in the 482A image above is thick and prominent, especially the lower right quadrant.
