Notice a different kind of perf on the top Washington 2 cents.Have not seen such perf before. What are such perfs called and are they normal perfs. Inputs, feedbacks most appreciated.Thanks.
The stamp is Scott 634 from the rotary press. The horizontal line in the margin is the joint line where the 2 plates meet. These stamps were printed with a 10mm marginal gutter between the plates.
