A current thread about this stamp has reminded me that I have this sheet of 50 which I was told were printers waste.
They have selvage all around (sorry can't get it all on my printer) are ungummed and have a black 'cancel' smeared on them (by CanadaPost, so I was told) to make them unusable.

As I don't collect Canada this 'new', and have no way to store these so they don't get damaged, I'm offering them free to the first person who can answer this philatelic trivia question.

Define Sexagenary?

The first to answer this can have these merely for the price of postage to your door.

Yes it does, but that is not the philatelic definition that I have.

I admit, when you stated philatelic related, I had to look it up. There is even a book on it

Sexagenary

Or more specifically, since you capitalized it, the Sexagenary [Cycle] is an old Chinese system of sixty words/terms used to record days/years. It is no longer in general use today.

OK, then yeah, sounds like Ncbuckeye is correct -- 1897 Leeward Island issue.

Yes nc got it, second time around.
"An inscription on the top part of the circle type overprint on the stamps of the Leeward Islands of 1897. The entire overprint was done in honour of the Diamond (60) Jubilee of Queen Victoria"

Well done.
