I found this postcard sent from a family member from Danzig to Poland. The notes with it say," Card sent from Danzig with insufficient postage to Poland where addressee refused to pay postage due and returned to sender where Danzig dues where applied, thus having dues from two different countries applied to it.
There is a second postcard that was cancelled at two different cities.
I thought it was pretty interesting and thought I'd share. I am new to all this stamp fun, so any input is always appreciated.

Very interesting alright.

Danzig is quite interesting and there are not that many stamps from it compared to some of the other countries.

I wish I knew what they about. All I know is that my family lived in Danzig. The post cards have the name "Kawecki" on them, which was my mother's maiden name. Unfortunately, that is all I know. I am dying to know more. another research project! I love history, so the stamps and postcards are so fascinating to me.

Thanks so much for the links! I will check them out. I have been too swamped to play with stamps the last couple days, Hopefully things will settle down and I can get back to it.
