Mystic Album Page Question

Was just looking through my 2000+ section and noticed my page 917 doesn't seem like the final version. I had a supplement issue in the past and may have missed something.

Can someone check out their page and let me know if this is what it's supposed to look like?

Here's mine:

My edition of that page (which is a year or two old) is titled "2000-06" and shows 9 illustrations (of the 16 spaces provided for) on that page. It starts with Stillwell (#3420), Rudolph (#3422), Pepper (#3426), Salk (#3428), Caraway (#3431), Ferber (#3433 - 2002 date), Ferber (#3434 - 2003 date), Sabin (#3435) and Rudolph (#3436 - Booklet).

I suspect that the extra spaces are for new stamps that get included in the series, which appears to have at least 13 varieties, plus the Jose Ferrer stamp from last year, making a total of 14 stamps. Of course, in the past year or so we've added the the Oveta Culp Hobby stamp that was issued as part of this "series", but is formatted differently, so it won't fit in the space as provided for on this page.

The names of the stamps also include first and last names.

I suspect the page has been revised if you purchase the current supplements from Mystic.

Mine shows nine figures also and my supplements are up to date 2012.

I sent them an email ealier and asked if they could just send it when they send my 2012 supplement.

Wonder what other pages might not be updated though.

In all fairness to Mystic, there's really no compelling reason they have to update that particular page right now. There's still plenty of spaces left for stamps of that series that have been issued since that page was printed and the series is still active as far as the USPS is concerned.

When all of the issues are announced that will fill a page, or when the USPS announces that they have concluded that definitive series, I would think it would then be appropriate for a page revision to be issued.

I disagree Wt1. If Mike33 paid for the 2011 supplement. Then it should be correct. I am sure in all fairness to Mystic Stamps it was just a simple error on their part and they will be more than willing to make it right. Probably the 2012 supplement will bring it up to date anyway since at least one new stamp was added this past year. Mike you could call Mystic and ask if that page is in the 2012 supplement. Mystic has always been more than fair to make anything right they made an error in.

I don't see it as an error of theirs at all. Just mine. I had stopped collecting around 2001 and when I got back into it a couple years ago, rather than buying all the supplements from 2001, I purchased a stack of pages from someone on here that did not collect past 1999 (I think). Then I bought the supplements I needed after that. I ended up not having an updated National Parks airmail page and now I've noticed this Distinguished Americans page wasn't updated either. Can't blame Mystic cause I didn't update the normal way. I'm sure if I did it year by year, all my pages would be correct.

I'm sure Mystic will be happy to send you the page. Their customer service outstanding. I called to the tell them that my 2011 supplement did not line up properly with the rest of the album and they sent me a complete set of pages and supplements.

Mike Mystic probably has most of the supplements you are missing. I may have the 2011 supplement here somewhere.I can look around
if you want me to. Just let me know.

I guarantee you that they have PDFs of all their supplements and just print supplements on demand for older supplements if they don't have them in stock.

I'm not missing any full supplements. Just maybe a page or 2 that had updates after the first release.

If anyone is bored and wants to see if I am actually missing anything, I finished scanning every page in my Mystic album yesterday. Only took a little over a year LOL
