You are right.I think there is something wrong in the print postage , and also the mouth of Queen Victoria and crown

The stamp looks damaged to me ,like a schuff across the top so no features would be accurate.

That's what it looks like to me as well, Floortrader. Notice that the left POSTAGE panel has also lost a lot of definition/color near the middle.

don't worry about the variety, your stamp has a scarce postmark, the code SP is the small branch office of Sandy Point, very difficult to find on Queen Victori issue,
