Would someone be able to help me to know the estimated delivery time for an item sent from US to Malaysia.Paid for the item on the 05/01/13 and as per ebay item shipped on 06/01/13, but am yet to receive it.Was sent through USPS first class mail international.Don't think there would be a delay at Malaysian customs as there is no tax or any sort of ban for bringing in stamps. Thanks and would appreciate your inputs as this may help me schedule my time rather than just getting someone to wait for it not knowing the time of delivery. Have sent an email to the seller but have not received any response.

I have sent to Malaysia and I think it took 3 weeks, so that does seem overly long.

Depends on where in the USA it was sent from. East coast / West coast.

I am in Nova Scotia on the East coast of Canada and to Hong Kong or Australia can take 3-4 weeks, depending on holidays and other days when wither Post Office is not operating such as some weekends.

I understand mail is very slow in early-mid January after the holiday chaos.
I sent 3 letters over two weeks ago to the UK and USA and none of them have arrived as of today.

From Malaysia to USA will take a lot longer.
In january, we all need lots of patience !

Just be aware if ebay purchase you just have 45 days to open dispute. Unfortunate that some items take longer but it is also a scammers tool to lead you on past 45 days knowing there is nothing you can do about it. In no way saying that is the case but keep track for your own safety.

Thanks guys for all the reply. Received a respond from the seller. He says may take 10-14 days or may taker longer like 6 weeks. But he has assured me it will safely arrive. But am surprised in modern times mails still take such a long time. The last time I sent a mail from Malaysia to US abt 6 mths ago.It took just 5 days to arrive in US using ordinary Malaysian postal services.
