Hi Lithograving,

For the thread to display images from Photobucket, it needs to download the complete file. It then reduces the resolution (size) to display within the thread, and if you click on the picture you can see the full resolution.

Therefore, Puzzler has to download the complete file to even see the file. With his slow/narrow bandwidth (dial-up!)he cannot download the large file.

OK stamporator I remember how pitiful slow dial up was when I
had it 20 years ago.

But I really don't want to pull a lordenning by deleting
all my posts.

Hello aglunt, welcome to Stamp Community.

Beautiful to see a first day cancel with the international rate of the Year of the Green Wood Horse this year. I like the higher rate design more than the domestic <P> design myself, although I've yet to actually see it.

Stamporator,
Thank you for the explanation, yes that is true. Sorry about my absence in purchasing. I am a slow one.

Litho,
Thank you for considering anyway. You can edit your original post and upload a new reduced file-size scan or photo if you care to also, without harming anything else of your detailed posts. Use the Preview also, I have to all the time now, Mr Bummble Stumble is my name now.

Lithograving,
Lovely images, albeit I suppose much smaller to all the new computer users and all.

Thank you for making the effort for me and the other computer owners who haven't yet caught up with all that is going on!

The Newmarket POCON is 0000 097187 on the CP website. First time that I have seen a missing first numeral, neat, thanks! Also a first time I think (so far, been absent a while) to see a seven-line postmark, counting the Canada Post lifting wing's logo as a line, good, keep my list and database skills sharp.

Love deep and bold DIEPPE postmark, must have one myself immediately.

Major0104,
The Campbell's Bay QC postmark is great. With the '0X' ending does that mean it is up North a ways, perhaps on the Hudson's Bay costline?

The '0X' in the spray on cancel is also new to me. Is that a sortation centre up North or a special machine or a run through on a line in a larger centre like Quebec city perhaps, where the employees renmbered elevtonically the sorting line's coding or number or something?

Puzzler,
I don't know what the "OX" from the postal code stands for.

Campbell's Bay is the Pontiac Regional County Municipality in PQ. It was founded in 1904 and it's located on route 301 (north-west of Ottawa). It has it's own web site.

In answer to your question Lithograving,

Most of the POCON dated early 2011, and posted by me, are from envelopes which contained answers to a provincial survey in January/february 2011. I sorted about 1200 covers. I still have a few POCON to post from this lot.
