Unusual Printing On Small Queen

Hello all, I don't think I have anything really valuable here but just out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone knew what the strange printing was on this small queen. I haven't seen any with such bad printing and don't see references to counterfeits anywhere. This stamp? is perf 12 x 12.25 and unfortunately quite damaged. Just something that I noticed a little strange in a large lot I recently acquired.

Hi. I do not think it is a counterfeit, but it is a terribly out of focus picture! The stamp looks like it is overinked quite a bit

Actually the blurriness to me looks present in the stamp as well which was one of the reasons I decided to post to the group. Although my first post was with my cell phone (sorry), I have replaced it with a 1200dpi scan and it still looks quite blurry to me - although maybe just my glasses need cleaned.

Looks better - just look at the cancel! But it still is very much overinked in my opinion.

I've seen thousands of 3c SQ and this is the most over-inked I've seen.

Quite an interesting curiosity.

A better scan (i.e. larger/in focus would help). You should be able to take the 1200dpi and make it larger on screen.
