I am after some help here.

I am looking for a dealer or collector contact in Venezuela to help me find some items relating to a 2005 issue I have just found that has a Vespa scooter on it and hence right in my very focused topical collecting interest.

I just did I quick google search for "stamp dealer Venezuela" but did not find anything very promising.

Anyone in Venezuela or have contacts their who are into stamps?

Regards
Gavin

There is an eBay-type auction in Argentina that has "branches" in most of the South American countries. Here is the URL for "stamps" in Venezuela. Problem for you may be that it's in Spanish, of course. But some of the Sellers are surely dealers in Venezuela; it's a start.

Also, my 2008 Scott Catalog(s) have a list of "Addresses, Telephone Numbers, Websites, E-Mail Addresses of General and Specialized Philatelic Societies" in the start of the "Introduction" section. New editions may still have that feature. Mine is 6 years out of date. I see there are societies for Mexico, Nicaragua, Cuba, Costa Rica, etc., but I did not find one for Venezuela. But that was six years ago...

Finally, go to Google, search for:
estampillas "Venezuela"

You get 700,000+ hits, bound to be some in English. The first dozen appear to be dealers, clubs, or specialists.

Hi

I have a Blanco Venezuela catalog from 1992 and the following dealer is listed in Caracas (I believe he is still in business):

Filatelia Blanco

ASOFILCA is a good site to check but it is mainly articles on classic issues.
