Hi All

I won this page some years ago and have tried to do some research on it.

To the best of my knowledge, it was prepared to honour homage to King Leopold III. It measures 9 x 14.5 inches (211 x 290 mm.) and is laminated.

The stamp shown on this page is known as a "Poortman" head type.

The translation for the top of this page is as follows:

Under the Honorary Presidency affiliated with the Royal Federation and the Union of Circles.

Philatelic event organized at the occasion of the mourning Stamp tribute to His Majesty the King Leopold III - 10 and December 11, 1983, at the Maison des Invalides, 76a, rue Joseph II - Brussels

All I know is that the society that produced this sheet started in 1929 (as seen at the top of the sheet) and was discontinued shortly after the end of WW II. This sheet was prepared in 1983!

As far as I know, all the signatures are from officials and dignitaries that were part of the creation of this event (?)

Doe any SCF member have any other information that can be added to this?

Thank you

Chimo
