Yes a lot of things are confusing at the minute!

Mailing discounts for Australia set free at $6

Mailing discounts for world wide set free at $16

So why has a buyer from the USA just received free mailing by buying over $6 of stamps?

That setting is now going to $16 for Australia & World Wide!

Hi yakboomer.

We understand better now and honestly had no idea. We are just trying to get the feel of things.

Our 1st bidStart buyer will get some very nice bonus stamps. That is the way things work with us.

Could you contact us please as I seem to be unable to contact you. Your info could be very helpful.

We have had to change both mailing discount costs to be free if the buyer spends over $12 on both Australia setting and world wide setting.

With bidStart the listing for mailing discounts will only show up with the setting for your own country. It totally ignores the other settings for world wide mailing discounts for world wide buyers.

To change the settings for free mailing if you spend so much on all listed lots was completed by just changing the edit setting on 1 listing and all other listings changed as well.

I need to know what mailing costs, combined mailing explanation and mailing discounts you can see when you look at 1 of our lots on bidStart. Plus I would like know if you find this mailing info easy to understand or confusing? As many feedbacks on this info as I can get is very welcome. Thank you in advance. User name 1sb. Here in the U.S. I see "3.15 AUD (to United States)" and the notes saying "When you buy more items from this seller! S/H on Additional Items is only 0.00 AUD each." and "Spend 12.00 AUD+ and receive Free Shipping!"

When I click for full shipping details I see S&H to Australia is 1.20 AUD and to Worldwide is 3.15 AUD with insurance available upon request.

EDIT: I just scrolled down to the description on the first two listings displayed (Item # 33053914 and Item # 32993387). Both start off with "Mailing is free of charge."

Thank you very much tomiseksj and 1847bill.

It looks like the store functions are a bit slow to come into full swing. Some our functions that are or were not working will come on line as the store gets used by buyers.

tomiseksj Thanks Heaps.

I read this straight after listing on ebay and realised that you had picked up on a huge mistake and you reporting it to us here is Huge.

There looks to be no bulk edit for the description area on bidStart so we had to correct 99 listings one at a time. It was nice that my wife helped as well. It is now all fixed thanks again to tomiseksj very good eye. It is so easy to make mistakes!

We have just terminated our involvement with bidStart!

Because it is...........!

I would highly recommend that it you want to be a seller on bidStart that it is not worth..........!

I said all that and not a single censored word!

So much for giving it 12 months!

Bidstart can be good, but I have noticed there does not seem to be a great deal of new material that I am interested in. I have 4 saved searches that I check every day and there has been nothing new in the last month.

I will warn all people that there is no room on bidStart to sell Australia. I watch many items! Dead!

The traffic is just basically non existent! It is a dead site!

To try and talk to a person(like they say) about fees does not happen!

To list on bidStart is to start a listing collection only!

How does a seller get over 23,000 listings if it is not a dead site?

I had better stop...!
