Would this be a scott# 349 coil. It reads a perf 12 horizontal.Am not sure what is written at the back of the stamp. Maybe the 12 means perf 12 and the other could be of a different cat no other than a scott.Inputs and feed backs much appreciated. Thanks.

Could be as simple as: 12 @ 1.60 each

Or could it be 12 @ 160 each since there is no dot between the 1 and 6.This seem a more simplified assumption.

Its bad enough to have hinge remnants, but marking up a stamp is just wrong.

The numbers just don't seem to represent value or ID of the stamp. Perhaps it was a collector/dealers inventory info of some kind.
