I don't collect Trinidad but unless the imperfs were a completely different crude plate I'd say the left is the forgery. Although the seated lady is fairly decent the outer frame lines and corner stars are rough and simple line work compared to fine engraved details on the right. The left actually doesn't look engraved either but that is an in hand feel test.
