The Niue looks like SG 138 (if perf 14) - 2013 Gibbons cat. value 50p. There is also a rough perf 11 variety, SG 138a, cat. at £8.50. |

You're welcome, not even going to try to determine if the 6 cent is a 39 or 43. |

Thanks BlackJag. The perf measure reads 12. So this is either a 27, 39 or a 43. As Rhino pointed out the nightmare of making out colours begins now I guess. Really stupid question but is there a way to determine the colour also lol? And here is another one I can't place: I am guessing either Syria or Lebanon. It has to be a Muslim country with the Piastre as a currency. Thanks for all the support. |

Thanks for all the support. Can't be 27 as 27 has "SIX CENTS" spelled out at bottom. Stamp on left is 39. stamp on right is 43. Also 39 has a lower left position dot while the 43 on the right does not. |

Hey thanks for all your help Rhino.
I saw your post late last night but was too tired to check the stamp. I think you removed the link that you had yesterday. I think that would help me find the dot you are referring to.
Edit: Found it. Will get back to you on results. |

Thanks Katchem_ash, the problem is that I have only one of these in my collection. So comparing it to other stamps is a bit of an issue.
I think its most likely a 43, but just going to have to wait to accumulate more.
Damn, and I thought the Washington / Franklins were the only ones to be tricky, these are a nightmare.
Edit: It is a 39, I just noticed the "dot" on the lower left. I really need to start focusing on the small things.
Only in these 3 stamps this is what I missed:
1. Cape of Good Hope 2. Six cents vs 6 cents 3. Dot
Wow! lol |
