Winter Stamp Show, Mariettia, GA
2013 February 23, 24
The annual winter stamp show at the Mansour Center is just around the corner. If you know where the "Big Chicken" is in Mariettia, Ga, it's across the road from it. The show is usually has 10-20 dealers and worth going to.

I was there Saturday. I got a lot of holes filled; RK Revenues, a #64b on Cover (I Think), a #24 type Va and several of the "Bank Notes". In my opinion, The Bank Notes are some of the more UGULY of the U.S. stamps issued. American or National, they all lack artistic appeal.

Ray,

They are at home in Ga. and I'm back in Pa. so I don't know when I will get to that. I just didn't have time this past weekend.

oops. I do have the Va with me.

I believe its from the top row of Plate 5 and after only looking at it for a brief period, I THINK its position 4L5. Of course, I welcome corrections whenever needed. If its not a Va, then its a close runner up. But at only $15.00 how could I go wrong?
