A lot of places that sell mounts have pages like these that help:

Scott and Showgard mounts are pretty identical size-wise. The only real difference is the names they use for their pre-cut singles.

Showgard has a size guide here: http://www.showgard.com/size_guides.cfm . This guide is nice, because you can look up mounts by year and Scott catalog number.

Amos has a Scott Mount guide here: https://www.amosadvantage.com/scott...d_part_desc=

I went to the Amos site. Cars and stamps now there is a combination! I went through the register and got to the stamp section and not all that impressed. Hard to read tiny print, and the stamp mount locater was no where to be found. After putzing around I found there is a zoom icon that makes the pages readable. I used the search too for mount locater but nothing came back. Unless you subscribe to Lins the prices are higher than if you buy showguard mounts diretly from show guard. I wasn't that impressed with this site. Maybe I missed something but it was a royal waste of time IMO.

The only thing I have seen that correlates Scott number to size is the Showgard size guide.

Try this website showing what Showgard mounts should be used for Scott Stamp Numbers (for US Stamps only, by year):

usually. I have some souvenir sheets that use a Showgard size of 201 height, and the equivalent Scott mount is a 200 height. Scott mounts are made by Prinz and rebranded by Scott. There are some Prinz sizes that Scott does not rebrand, and are not available except through someone like Global Stamps that imports them.

Showguard mounts are Shaufix mounts that are rebranded by Vidiform. I'm sure Shaufix makes sizes that Showgard does not rebrand, but I have never seen them offered for sale.

The one thing that comes to mind for me is the mounts for the Celebrate the Century sheets. The mount in available in the exact same size from both Scott and Showgard (201 mm high). But Global Stamps has found that Prinz makes are 200 mm mount which will fit these sheets without a problem and is a lot cheaper. This 200mm size is not available from Showgard.

Mystic mounts are rebranded Davo mounts. Their price isn't bad, but Global Stamps usually has a better price for Scott Mounts, that Mystic has for their rebranded mounts.

I've never used Davo. How do you rank them against Scott/Prinz?
