These North Korean stamps from 1998 are among my favourites. They depict the famous North Korean cartoon "Squirrel and Hedgehog". It features the titular characters, as well as their enemies, the Weasel Commander, the grey mouse Mulmangcho, and the drunken Bear Uncle. The show ran from 1977 to 2012, when new episodes stopped being produced for unknown reasons. The show is one of my favourite animated series.  |

Cowboy Pipec and Red Beet  self adhesive booklet - 2001The author Bozo Kos was born in 1931 in Maribor. He illustrated more than 150 books and was for many years the editor-in-chief of the humorous magazine Pavliha, as well as of Ciciban and Petka magazines. The comic strip Cowboy Pipec and Red Beet was published in the Pionirski list, a magazine for teenagers from 1959 to 1991. |
