I had a couple of Guatemala fiscal stamp duplicates..they are described in the specialized books but no one can put a realistic price on them..so I put them out for 3 dollars for the pair on ebay...i have had one 3 dollar bid for days..then at the last minute there were a total of three bids and they went for $16 ! Mo money for stamps !!

Remember, the value of collectables is based on condition and demand. No demand, no value. No buyers, even if the item is scarce, also translates to no value. Two collectors who both want/need an item, watch the value climb.

Intrinsic value of stamps is the scrap value of the paper they are printed on. All other value is created by the buyer.
