... arrived a bit late, but a nifty stamp. It has a coating that is sort of glittery that doesn't show in scans.

Indian mother and child, an airmail stamp printed by lithography, and issued by Peru on February 23, 1976 for Christmas, Scott No. C427.

Here are images of the four stamps in a set depicting traditional Christmas celebrants, respectively: Carolers dancing around a tree; Waits (watchmen); 18th century carolers; and medieval carolers with a boar's head on a plate, designed by English illustrator Faith Jaques (1923-1997), printed by photogravure, and issued by Great Britain on November 22, 1978 for Christmas, Scott Nos. 847-50.

Here is an image of a Christmas stamp designed after a detail from a painting of the Nativity by Flemish artist Robert Campin (aka the Master of Flémalle, c. 1375-1444), engraved by Belgian sculptor Paul Huybrechts (1951- ), and issued by Belgium on November 20, 1976, Scott No. 965, plus an image of the relevant detail from the original oil-on-wood work of art.
