First of all thank for all your inputs! Khj, I`ve checked the area under magnifying glass, no sign of damage. Regarding the perfin, I guess this should be A A / B (but I still have no idea for what it stands for??)
, and as it is diagonal I guess first A belongs to the other perforation.
After considering all these, in 2 days I`ll list this stamp on ebay, as it is, trying to describe all possible faults.
Date of postmark 31 De 95 (?).
ps.- I had to resolve some things, before I reply (made a donation to the site, before let you know I will list it on ebay - and now my conscience is clear(er) ;)
Thanks again!

Ok, my two cents worth. All used loose stamps were soaked off the paper at one point. Yes there are a few exceptions to that. I don't see a need to soak the stamp pictured. I also don't see a problem with lukewarm water as long as you don't see anything that may bleed. If you do have stamps with paper hinge remnants, don't be surprised if the remnants don't soak off. The same people that used scraps of paper for hinges used glues that will likely damage the stamp if you try to remove it. If it won't soak off easily I leave it on.

Here's what the perfin man said:

"I feel that the perfin you have is the one I have copied from "A Catalogue of Great Britain Perfins," by T. A. Edwards and B. C. Luca published in 1986. It is listed as pattern 0100 in that catalogue.

Your stamp is either punched a second time by a single die device or by a multiple die device spaced for the smaller definitive issues. Since the first and second "A" are lined up with each other, I think that it was the latter."

===================
All this suggests to me that a stamp, ESPECIALLY a high-value 10/-, with 3 A's (instead of 2) is a real unusual find.

Well it's certainly an excellent starting bid. Too bad I don't need one. Although I admit, I'm tempted...
